Louise Olbert Shull Bland, 87, passed away peacefully on October 11, 2025, at her home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Louise was born in Mancos, Colorado, on May 31, 1938, to Muriel Everett Olbert and Leonard Olbert. Louise is survived by her children, Kathryn Shull and Jim Shull, and his wife, Christen Shull. She will also be missed by her grandchildren: two granddaughters, Olivia Graft Moore and her husband Ladan Moore, and Lauren Shull Wolff, her husband Samuel Wolff, and their son Spencer Wolff; and Louise's grandson Austin Shull.
Louise will be dearly missed. She was a remarkable woman who brought love and happiness to so many, and she had an extraordinary gift for making those around her feel special. She taught us all the value of family, the strength of unconditional love, and the importance of a good laugh.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, October 20, at 12:00 pm at French Funerals on Wyoming and San Antonio in Albuquerque, New Mexico, with a graveside service to follow at Sunset Memorial Park on Menaul and Edith.
