Lowell T. Andolsen, 78, passed away October 1, 2025. Born October 3, 1946, in Cleveland, Ohio, Lowell was the son of Lloyd and Helen (Kozinski) Andolsen.
Lowell proudly served his country in the Army National Guard from August 8, 1969, until August 7, 1975, receiving an Honorable Discharge from Fort Polk, Louisiana. He built a long and dedicated career at Supply Technologies, a division of Park Ohio, formerly known as RBW Logistics. Lowell worked there for more than 40 years, retiring in 2012. During his years with the company, he traveled extensively to many countries around the world. One of his most memorable trips was to London, England, where he was accompanied by his beloved wife, Sue. His favorite "trip of a lifetime" with Sue was their trip to Hawaii.
For many years, Lowell and Sue were active members of their parish, St. Ambrose Catholic Church in
Brunswick, Ohio, where they attended and participated in many church events together. Lowell and Sue also shared a love of travel and cherished weekend getaways to Amish country in Ohio, Pittsburgh, and Michigan. A special memory for Lowell was a college reunion in Michigan, where he reconnected with lifelong friends.
Lowell leaves behind the love of his life, his beloved wife of over 55 years, Susanne (Kushner) Andolsen. His memory will also be cherished by his brother- and sister-in-law, Dan and Dee Kushner, and sister-in-law, Barbara Andolsen; nieces and nephews, Ruth Andolsen, Daniel Andolsen, and Danielle Kushner; and great-nieces and great-nephews, Martin DiCicco, Anne DiCicco, James Pannell, Brooke Andolsen, and Jack Andolsen. He will also be deeply missed by many cousins. On the Kushner side of the family, his memory will live on with Sharon, Kathy, Dale, Janice, Connie, George, David, and Fr. George; and on the Andolsen side of the family, he leaves behind fond memories with Carol, Anthony, Judy, Jan, John, Joyce, JoAnn, and Mary Jane.
In addition to his parents, Lowell was preceded in death by his brother, Alan "Skip" Andolsen.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 10:30 am on Monday, October 13, 2025, at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish, 929 Pearl Road,
Brunswick, Ohio. Lowell will be laid to rest at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Cemetery, 1800 Station Road, Valley City, Ohio.
