Lowell George Johnson, age 66 of Andover, passed away on February 6, 2026. Preceded in death by his loving parents, George Nels and Leona Mae (Jenson) Johnson.
Lowell was a fun, loving husband and an exceptional father and grandfather. Throughout his life, he was a strong, devoted son and dedicated brother. His faith and love for God called him to be a servant-leader, placing all his loved ones and everyone he knew before himself. Every life Lowell touched will remember him—his family, his friends, his neighbors and his whole world. His passionate light warmed everyone around him. He has left an enduring legacy.
Survived by wife of 42 years, Gaylene; sons Samuel (Robyn) and Luke (Lorrie) Johnson, and daughter Rachel (Carter) Berry; grandchildren Charlotte Berry and August Johnson; sisters Linda (Sheldon) Wolfe; Diane (Bill) Ford; Gwen (John) Geithman; and Jane (Bill) Hafdal; many other relatives and friends.
Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11 AM at Thurston-DeShaw Funeral Home, 13817 Jay St NW, Andover. Visitation one hour prior to service.
