Lowell Thomas Mattson, 85, of Alexandria, Minnesota passed away surrounded by his wife and family on January 13th, 2024.
Lowell was born in Eau Claire Wisconsin in 1938 and lived in both Alaska and Minnesota during his life. He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, baking, and sharing his Christian faith with others in many ways. His joyful laugh, sense of humor, and big bear hugs were liberally shared with and loved by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Elinore, and his brother Mel. He leaves behind his wife, Janet, his brother Kenny, his sister Lois, his children, Tracy, Dawn, Kelly, Tara, Bobbi, Kerry, Jason, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
An informal celebration of life service will be held on May 26, 2024, at 1pm in Alexandria Minnesota at Anderson Funeral Home who can be contacted at 320-763-5900.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that photographs and stories about Lowell be submitted on his obituary page or sent to [email protected] .
