Lowell Ernest Pottenger

Lowell (Butch) Ernest Pottenger, 61 years of age, passed on Sunday, November 16, 2025.
Butch was born February 24, 1964, in Newton, Kansas to the late Lowell and Julia Pottenger. He was the second oldest of six children.
Butch was a very talented carpenter who loved to create and build things. He loved spending time with family and friends, laughing and getting into mischief. He was a loving and caring brother, and friend. He loved cooking for others and helping those less fortunate. To know him was to love him.
Butch leaves to cherish his loving memory his sister Penny Rogers and her husband Freddie and their daughter, Julia, his brother Lance Pottenger and his wife Chrissy and their three children, Eugene, Kayla and Rebekah, his brother Spencer Pottenger and his wife Denice, his brother Cortney Pottenger and his wife Heather and their two children, Summer and Jaxson, and his sister Kimberley Cape and her husband Donnie and their two children, Ethan and Aidan along with his Uncle, Loren Pottenger and his wife Marcia, several cousins, grandnephews and grandnieces and a host of friends.
A celebration of life service will be scheduled at a later date.
