LuAnne (McVeigh) Krapinski, 72 of Ravenna passed away peacefully Friday, October 10 at her home in Ravenna surrounded by loved ones and friends. She was born in Bedford, Ohio on December 16, 1952 to George McVeigh and Irene (Mobley) McVeigh. Luanne has lived in Portage County most of her life. Affectionately known as Lu or Lulu, Luanne was a kind and caring woman that loved all people without judgement. She was full of fun and sass. She loved her friends, coffee, sweets and being cozied up by the TV. She enjoyed her family time most of all. Her grandchildren were the light of her life. She is survived by her son Rick Krapinski, her daughter Pam McGowan and son-in-law Steve, granddaughter Marley Krapinski and grandson Michael Krapinski, sisters Debra Gowe, Robin Zenz and Mindy Shy and brother Timothy McVeigh, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was proceeded in death by her beloved son Justin Krapinski, her parents George McVeigh & Irene (Mobley) McVeigh, sisters Linda O'Neal and Tina McVeigh. The world feels quieter without her but our hearts are forever full for having known and loved her. We find comfort in knowing she is at peace reunited with loved ones in God's eternal care. A private celebration of life will be held by the family at a later date. PLease visit www.sscfuenralhomes.com to offer a condolence, share a memory or light a candle.
