Luann Louise (Beamer) Warren, age 59, of Mechanicsburg died on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Luann was born on Monday, January 4, 1965, in Carlisle to Mabel Elizabeth (Newkam) Beamer and the late Raymond Albert Beamer Sr. In addition to her father, Luann is preceded in death by her sister, Wanda Davis.
Luann’s survivors include her husband of 17 years, Joey Earnest Warren; her daughter: Nicole Suzette Jones and her husband, Brian, of Shermansdale, PA; her granddaughter: Brooke Goodwin and her husband, Matthew, of Duncannon, PA; her mother: Mabel Elizabeth (Newkam) Beamer; her two siblings: Raymond “Tip” Beamer and his wife, Linda, of Colorado, Evonne Garner of Mechanicsburg, PA; and several nieces and nephews.
Luann attended Mechanicsburg High School as part of the class of 1983. She was an animal lover, and had several parakeets. Luann was very artistic, and made wonderful creations by working with plastic canvas. She enjoyed seeing the world through the lens of photographs of all kinds. Luann loved spending time with family most of all. She and Joey spent many hours on the Yellow Breeches fishing together. Visiting Children’s Lake was a favorite family outing, and she looked forward to seeing the ducks. Luann was a loving grandmother, and Brooke was her pride and joy. She will be dearly missed by those who were fortunate enough to have known her.
All are welcome to join Luann’s family at visitation on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, from 1:00 p.m. until time of service at 2:00 p.m. at Buhrig Funeral & Cremation, 37 East Main Street, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055; with Pastor Bob Kauffman officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mechanicsburg Cemetery. Cremation was private.
