LuAnn Tyson passed away on Monday, March 25, 2024 at the age of 70.

She was born LuAnn Knutson on November 22, 1953 at Swedish Hospital to Galen and Doris (Sorset) Knutson, in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

LuAnn grew up in North Minneapolis and attended Patrick Henry and North Hennepin. She was a single parent. She provided day care to many families; she had a special gift with children. After her kids were raised she became a leasing agent until retirement.

She had a real talent for decorating and she loved flowers and plants. She was born to shop. She dearly loved her grandkids. She and Tom would attend the grandkids' sporting events. They also loved to take road trips and try new restaurants. She loved to host get-togethers (the more, the merrier).

To know her is to know her family. She will always be in our hearts until we meet again.

LuAnn is survived by her husband of 25 years, Thomas Tyson of Albertville; children Melaina Nadeau of St. Michael, Tony Schreiner of Albertville; grandchildren Tanner (Emily) Schreiner of St. Michael, Sidney Schreiner of Maple Grove, Jada Schreiner of Scottsdale, Arizona, Alex Nadeau of St. Cloud, Jack Nadeau of Little Canada; sister Gail (Mike) Tiedeken of St. Michael; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

LuAnn was preceded in death by her parents Galen and Doris (Knute and Dode) Knutson; son Jason Schreiner; sisters Trudy Knutson, Trayce Olsen, Cindy Compton; brother Greg Knutson; nephew Nick Stephanick.

A Celebration of LuAnn's life is planned: 12 Noon on Sunday, (April 7, 2024) with visitation one hour prior to the service all at Kindred Hearts Event Center, 1549 Broadway Street East, Monticello, MN 55362.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
