Luann was my very best friend throughout high school and roommate when we attended JBU. One of the things that I wish I would have done when we were in high school was travel with her to visit her grandmother. At that time, I was a shy country girl that had never been further than Ohio and all the unknowns created a fear in me. So my declining the invitation has always haunted me not only for disappointing my friend but guessing what I missed out on. LuAnn, of course, understood and took it in stride. I´ll always love LuAnn and cherish the thought that someday we´ll meet again.
