LuAnne Ervin Torbett Roberts Obituary

She was a graduate of Athens School of Nursing and spent more than 40 years working as a nurse in Atlanta area hospitals, including Emory University and South Fulton Hospital, before retiring from Henry General Medical Center after 21 years there.
She was preceded in death by her parents, listed above; first husband Edison Torbett; second husband, Lewis Roberts; sisters, Mildred Ervin Walton and Joyce Ervin Cline; brothers, John (Johnny) Ervin, Jr., Carl Clayton Ervin; and two infant sisters, Beatrice and Naomi.
Survivors include her daughter, Frances Torbett Hess (John); stepchildren, David Torbett (Josephine), Cheryl Liepold, Al Roberts and James Roberts; grandchildren, Jennifer Hess, Jason Hess and Justin Hess; special nephew, Dr. Jeffrey L. Stephens, M.D.; several nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, August 30th, Biereley-Hale Chapel. Interment will follow the service at Eleazar Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M., Saturday, at Biereley-Hale Funeral Home, Madisonville.
