Lucas Neil Bainbridge, 35, of Greensburg, died Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born August 02, 1989, in Jeannette, a son of Neil L. and Jill A. Macrania Bainbridge of Greensburg.
Lucas was a 2007 graduate of Mt. Pleasant High School. He served as the President and worked as a machinist at P&R Engine Rebuilders, Inc. in Greensburg. Founded in 1965, the shop's mission has always been to deliver the best quality work at competitive prices. Over the years, they expanded their capabilities to service a broad spectrum of engine platforms, specializing in nearly all forms of automotive machining, along with some industrial machining operations. Lucas was dedicated to upholding this legacy of excellence and craftsmanship.
In addition to his work, Lucas was a partner in the upcoming Whiskey Throttle Fair, “The Loudest Party Of The Summer”, which is to be held at the Westmoreland County Fairgrounds at the end of June.
Lucas loved spending time outdoors, whether snowboarding or golfing. He also enjoyed playing chess and was passionate about exploring new adventures. He will be fondly remembered for having a great personality—very intelligent, quick-witted, and articulate.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Roy and Imogene Slivsek Bainbridge and his two aunts, Betsy and Amy Bainbridge.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his maternal grandparents, Gildo James and Carol Sue Lutz Macrania of Irwin; aunts and uncles, Buzz and Darlene Bainbridge, Gigi and Jack Bainbridge-Donner, Danna and Bob Schwartzmiller, Jimmy and Annie Macrania and Christopher Macrania along with many cousins, friends and co-workers.
