Lucas Hamann, age 29, of Columbia City passed away. He was born on December 1, 1995 in Rock Island, Illinois. He lived a life filled with warmth and kindness, always making friends with his easy-going personality.
Lucas loved his family and family get-togethers. He loved working on cars, fishing, outdoors, computer building, gaming, traveling, cooking, and singing karaoke. Lucas was a foodie, trying different foods, and sharing food with others. He was creative and loved customizing car lighting.
Lucas was able to start up a custom light business for vehicles and recently had started a roadside assistance company. Both companies were successful in that they helped Luke achieve financial stability and helped him thrive. Lucas's biggest dream was to open his own automotive shop.
Lucas is survived by his devoted parents, David and Jenny Wust. He leaves behind his siblings, Olivia Hamann (Ryan Anderson), Nick Wust (Holly Wust), and Jacob Wust (Emily Wust), who will remember him for his friendly spirit and generous heart. His cherished nieces and nephews, Alyse Anderson, Reese Anderson, Kaci Anderson, Everly Wust, Emerson Wust, and Jake Wust Jr. Lucas is also survived by his grandparents, Ted and Janet Johnson.
The family will gather to celebrate Lucas' life on September 6, 2025, at Titus Funeral Home, 8056 East 500 North, North Webster, IN 46555. Lucas will be laid to rest at Sugar Tree Grove Cemetery in Monmouth, Illinois, on September 12, 2025.
Lucas Hamann will always be remembered for his trust, generosity, and the warmth he shared with everyone around him. His spirit will continue to inspire and touch the hearts of those he leaves behind.
