At the beginning of 6th grade we could earn a day in another teachers classroom, I got one and chose to spend the day in his room. I spent the whole day there. It was one of the best days of the entire year because he made learning so much fun. He would laugh and tell jokes during his lesson, he would try to make us laugh. He did this everyday, but I am so glad I got to spend the entire day with him and his jokes! I loved Mr.Miller, and am so glad I got to know him.

I met Luke many years ago while attending college in Minnesota with his brother Erik. Luke always had a warmth and kindness about him which came through in his great smile. Over the past few years, I've admired his resilience and toughness and how he combined it with a genuine kindness. His legacy of commitment to family, teaching/coaching, and positively impacting his community is an inspiration to me.

I met Luke in college. He was so much fun, and we all just had the best of times! I haven´t seen him since a few years out of college, but will cherish the memories. He was just the happiest of people. I remember one day Luke and I were walking around campus and found two free papasan chairs on someone´s curb. Blue and pink - I wanted the blue, so he took the pink and we walked to our respective houses with these huge chairs over our heads. We looked ridiculous- but that memory always sticks with me! We couldn´t stop laughing! He was a great guy - Im so sorry for your loss. My deepest sympathies to all his friends and family.
