Lucas (Luke) Alan Olson, age 49, of Osseo, WI went to be with the Lord on September 26th, 2024. He is survived by his beautiful wife, Brandi Olson, and his sweet children Phallen Olson (Austin Wolfe) and Blake Olson (Alexis Olson), as well as his father and mother, Bruce and Sue Olson, and siblings Jerald and Carmen Olson, Wendy Hoekstra and Holly and Chad Hutchens along with many beloved nieces and nephews.
Luke was born and raised outside of Osseo, WI on the farm where he spent the best years of his life. He spent 6 years in the Marine Corps before being honorably discharged. He was later employed by Siegfried Construction, where he worked for the last 8 years.
Luke was an all-in or not-at-all guy. He was passionate about the things and the people that he loved, so when he gave his heart to the Lord a year and a half ago, he was all in. He wasn't afraid to share his newfound love of Jesus with anyone anywhere. Walmart was his evangelism field.
Luke served at the Oasis Church on the SERT team and was passionate about protecting the flock. He spent hours at his bench in the grove praying and reading his bible. He brought many people up there to have an encounter with the Lord. Once he found freedom, he wanted everyone to experience what he had.
The Olson Family Farm was his happy place. He made trails in the woods, cut 100's of cords of wood with his son Blake and spent hours making the family campground beautiful. He loved his herd of German Shepherds, Athena being his baby.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 2nd at the Oasis Church in Eau Claire, WI at 11:00 a.m. officiated by Pastor Landon Huie. The service will be followed by full military honors. Please join the family after the service for a meal, sharing of memories, and fellowship.
