Lucia Olivia Armenta Robles
Lucia (Lucy) Olivia Armenta Robles, 76, of Superior, Arizona passed away on November 13, 2024 in Mesa, Arizona. Lucia along with her twin brother John were born on November 7, 1948. Lucy was a beloved mother, nana, great nana, sister, niece and friend to many.
Lucy was a lifelong resident of Superior. She spent her early years working at the Uptown Theater, and as a beautician. She will always be remembered for her beautiful makeup, especially her winged eyeliner. She then devoted many years to raising her children as mom and dad. She then became known as Mrs. Robles to many, when she began teaching Preschool at the Superior Public Library. She taught preschool for 18 years, volunteered and worked at the elementary school, a devoted member of St. Francis Catholic Church, was a Cursillista, taught catechism, was a longtime member of the Club Social de Damas, and ended her career working at the Superior Public Library alongside her best friend Josie Campos.
Most of all she enjoyed spending time with family and watching football every weekend. Mom loved her ASU Sun Devils, Arizona Cardinals and the Dallas Cowboys because her Mijos are Cowboys fans. Lucy enjoyed working on puzzles, diamond painting, cooking, baking, reading, playing lottery scratchers with her daughter, and attending Little Joe y La Familia concerts with her children.
Lucy is survived by her loving children Ricardo (Monica), Gabriel (Madison) and Andrea Robles. Her Grandchildren Gabriel Jr., Daniel, Matteo, Nicholas and Sophia and Great Grandchildren Isabel and Ezra, her brother Richard Armenta, and Aunt/Sister Rosemary Mancha.
