GROVER - Luciana Foy, a beacon of light and love, passed away peacefully on November 30, 2025, in Shelby, North Carolina. Born on January 8, 1955, in the Philippines, to the late Simeon Cantiverons Paraiso and Pascuala Labapis Paraiso. Luciana lived 70 years filled with grace, kindness, and unwavering faith.

A devoted follower of God, Luciana dedicated her life to spreading His word and touching the lives of those around her. She was a woman of profound faith who truly embodied her belief in "shining the light to people in the dark." Her greatest joy came from bringing people closer to God, and she did so with compassion, warmth, and a big heart.

Luciana was not only a loving wife, mother, daughter, and aunt, but also a cherished friend to many. She found immense joy in caring for her family and friends, always putting others before herself. Her love and nurturing spirit created a haven of comfort and support for those fortunate enough to be in her presence.

Throughout her life, Luciana was known for her hard work and dedication. She enjoyed her work and approached each task with enthusiasm and perseverance. Her resilient spirit and tireless efforts were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Luciana is survived by her beloved husband, Terry Foy; her son, Luis Biondy; her grandson, Nate Paraiso; her niece, Ellen Avila; and her great-niece, Reanne Avila. Her legacy of love and faith will continue to shine through them and all who were blessed to know her.

A gathering to celebrate Luciana's remarkable life will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at 3:00 PM at Calvary Baptist Church, 122 Thompson St., Jacksonville, North Carolina, with Pastor Bob Tucker officiating.

In the words of those who remember her, Luciana's life was a testament to the power of faith, hope, and unconditional love. She will be dearly missed, but her spirit will forever guide us as we continue her mission to spread light in the world.
