Lucie Pearl Hackney 81, of Kansas City, Ks passed away peacefully on Friday, September 27th, 2024
Visitation will be Wednesday October 2, 2024 at 9:30 am to 10:30 am, service 10:30 am to 11:30am
Internment will be at Leavenworth National Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
She was born in Prescott, Ks and grew up and graduated high school in Fort Scott, Ks.
She moved to Kansas City not long after graduating where she met and married her husband, Harold Hackney, 61 years. She retired from Sunshine Biscuit Company after working there for 33 years.
Lucie loved to travel. Yearly family vacations were very important to her. Visiting family, National Parks, Lucie was a proud supporter of St Judes Children’s Hospital.
