Predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth S. Morin; daughter, Marie J. Fetzner; step-daughter, Linda L. Nissen; brothers, Louis C. Morin (Yvonne) of Tavares, FL, Francis J. Morin of Astatula, FL; sister, Bella J. Burns (Francis) of Watertown, MA.
Survived by his children, Lucien A. Morin II (Teresa) and Linda A. Kozelsky (Joseph); son-in-law, Charles Fetzner; step-children, Larry G. Nissen (Elaine), Sherry Bushnell (Timothy), Tammy Lopez (Luis); grandchildren, Kristin Kozelsky-Reed (Thomas), Michael Morin Kozelsky (Samantha), Holly Kozelsky, Mara Kozelsky Hunter (Richard), Kaitlin Nazarko, Dillon Nazarko (Dajana), Karlee Sacheli (Chris); great-grandchildren, Blythe, Lincoln, Hazel Kozelsky, Mary Quirk, Noah Sacheli; Several nephews, nieces, grand-nephews and grand-nieces.
A veteran of WWII Lucien proudly began serving with the US Army Air Corps & would retire from the US Army as a Major. His employer at the time, Kee Lox Manufacturing, promoted him in the 1950's and moved him from Massachusetts to the Rochester home office. Once here, he became active in public service. First as a Henrietta Town Justice and Town Board Member, then as a legislator on the first ever Monroe County Legislature. He brought his business experience and acumen to the role of County Manager. Lastly, he became the first elected County Executive. Throughout his service, he firmly believed in the Community of Monroe
Lucien was a Life Member of the Reserve Officers Association, a member of the Henrietta American Legion Post #1151, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Rice-Hallick Post #5465, member of 40 & 8 Voiture #111, Knights of Columbus Henrietta Council #4812, a 4 degree "Sir Knight" with the Knights of Columbus Bishop Kearny Assembly #0723.
Per his request funeral services will be private.
