Lucille (Hester) Britnell, 83 of Elk City, Oklahoma was born on December 18, 1941, in Russellville, Alabama to Oscar and Bertha (Mitchell) Hester. Lucille looked upon the face of her Lord and Savior on Wednesday, September 3, 2025, at Elk City Nursing Home in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Lucille married, Conard Britnell in 1970, at Tuscumbia, Alabama. Conard preceded her in death on April 13, 1984.

Lucille was a homemaker who excelled in many hobbies including quilting, cooking. Her generous nature led her to go to considerate lengths for others, and she found personal fulfillment in helping those in need.

Lucille had a deep personal relationship with God and was a member of the 2nd & Adams Church of Christ, Elk City, Oklahoma. She treasured spending time with her family and friends and will be deeply missed and greatly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, September 8, 2025 at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Rodney Minor will officiate. Interment will be at Fairlawn Cemetery, Elk City, Oklahoma. Services have been entrusted to the care of Richard and Tammy Dugger and the staff of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Elk City, Oklahoma.

Cherishing her memory is one loving son, Tony Lee Willis of Elk City, Oklahoma; one grandson, Nathan Lee Willis of Elk City, Oklahoma; and other relatives and friends.

Lucille is preceded in death by her husband, Conard Britnell; her parents, Oscar and Bertha Hester; and one son, Terry Willis.

Memorials can be made to 2nd & Adams Church of Christ, Elk City, Oklahoma. in care of Martin-Dugger Funeral Home and Cremation Services, P.O. Box 707, Elk City, Oklahoma 73648.
