Lucille Castro peacefully passed on July 8, 2022, at the age of 96. Lucille and Elias Castro (deceased) had 5 children – Carolyn (deceased), Christine (Allen), Marlene (Gary), Elias II (Paula) and Peter (deceased). She leaves behind 8 beloved Grandchildren – Dean, Dana, Jennifer (Mike), Julie, Nicole, Clint, Elias III, and Malissa (Jared). Nine treasured Great-Grandchildren – Ronald (Kayla), Tiffani (Cody), Enrique, Richard, Zachary, Maya, Anthony, Alicia and Isabella. And her wonderful 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren – Troy, Cooper and Emyr. Lucille enjoyed watching her family grow and loved all of them so very, very much.
Lucille is survived by her youngest brother – Roy (Jan) and many Nieces, Nephews and Friends.
Rosaura (her mother), Rufino (her father), and siblings – Henry, Jesse, Estelle, Richard, Delores and Albert, as well as many other family and friends welcomed Lucille into eternal life.
Her strong Catholic faith gave her inner strength, courage and resolve by which she lived her life. She was a beautiful, warm hearted, fun and adventurous person who enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She touched the hearts of so many people – she will be deeply missed.
Services: Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 3, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Church, 199 Brandon Road, Pleasant Hill, CA and private burial to follow at Golden Gate National Cemetery.
