Lucille K. Hogberg, 93, of Burlington died Thursday, May 1, 2025, at the Addington Place in Burlington.
Born Jan. 24, 1932, in Burlington, she was the daughter of Ernest and Vera Kindig Conn. On March 31, 1951, she married Robert W. Hogberg in at Robert's parents home in Burlington.
Lucille was a very caring, loving and strong woman. She was very hardworking and owned her own hair salon, Hairstyles by Lucille in Wever, for many years. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply and was always willing to help them in what ways she could. Her kindness and compassion will be missed but her legacy will continue on through all who loved her.
Survivors include three sons, Jeff Hogberg, Jim (Tamyra) Hogberg, and Jerry (Alma) Hogberg; two daughters, Jody (Paul) Lyon, and Judee (Robert) Hogberg; 18 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three stepgrandchildren; sister-in-law, Maxine Conn; and brother-in-law, Dean Wehrle.
Besides her husband, she is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ernest and Wilson Conn, and three sisters, Bonnie Sout, Virginia (Earl) Clingingsmith and Janet Wehrle.
Visitation will be from 10 until 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street, Burlington.
The funeral service for Lucille will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 10, at Prugh Funeral Service, 3940 Division Street, with Pastor Dave Yonker officiating. A time of food and fellowship will be held in the community room at Prugh Funeral Service following the ceremony.
Cremation has been entrusted to the care of Prugh Crematory. Prugh Funeral Service is in care of the arrangements.
