PAYNE -- Lucille Barbara Klima, 84, of Payne, Ohio passed away at home on Monday, February 16, 2026.
Lucille was born in Lima, Ohio on August 17, 1941, the oldest daughter of the late LaDonna (Schnipke) and Leo Burgei.
She was a graduate of Ottoville High School. Lucille enjoyed sewing and crocheting, but her first love was her family. She will always be remembered for her friendly smile, warm personality and generous supply of homemade cookies.
Lucille will be sadly missed by her husband, Norbert to whom she was married August 6, 1960; children, Karen (Mark) Sullivan, James (Sharon) Klima, Michael (Valerie) Klima and Beth (Mark) Smith; siblings, Norbert (the late Sharon, Ron (Donna) and Roger (Theresa) Burgei, Betty (Ed) Pohlman, Joyce (Mike) Rode and Mary (Jerry) Renner; 13 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and one on the way.
Viewing is Sunday, February 22nd, 1 PM to 5 PM, with the Rosary recited at 5 PM at Dooley Funeral Home, 5761 SR 500, Payne and Monday, February 23rd, 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM at the Dooley Funeral Home, Payne.
Lucille's Funeral Mass is Monday, February 23rd at 10 AM at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 203 W Townline Street, Payne.
She will be laid to rest in Saint John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Payne.

Sincere condolences to the all the families. Many years of friendship with Norbert and Lucille. Our kids grew up together and are friends to this day. Lucille always had a smile and so pleasant. Peace to each of you.
