Lucille Lewis was born to the late Willie and Laura Marie (Dillions) Adams on January 30, 1937. She departed this earthly life on Tuesday, October 7, 2025. Lucille received Christ at an early age and was a member of the Christ Temple Apostolic Faith Church, Dayton, OH until her health prevented her from participating. She was preceded in death by her sons, Jerry (Nicole Douglas) and Danny (Michelle); husband, Roudolph Lewis; her parents; brothers: Rev. William P., RJ, Charlie Leon, and Jesse Ray. He very favorite way to pass time was doing word search puzzles, which contributed to her sharp mind and wit. Her memory was amazing. She was born in Seguin, TX and graduated from Ball High School. Lucille moved to Dayton, OH when she married (Roudolph). She worked in the healthcare industry in Dayton at numerous clinics, most notably at the Charles R. Drew Health Center, after which she went into private patient care. Her most cherished role was being a devoted mother to her three sons, three daughters, and loving grandmother to her grand and great grandchildren.
Left to cherish her memories are daughters Dr. Laura Marie (Johnson) and Mary Catherine (both of Dayton, OH and son, Dwayne (Stephanie; Alexandria, LA). She also leaves behind her grandsons, Otis JM, Craig, Daniel, Everett, Tyrone, Kelly, DJ, David, and Chris; granddaughters: Danyelle, Khristina, Kristin; her precious great grandchildren: Jasiah, Micah, Nasir; dear sisters: Jessie Mae Jefferson (LeRoy-deceased) and Mary Ann Carpenter (Rev. Martin Sr.-deceased); a host of other relatives, and friends.
