Lucille Ann Maike, age 88, of Chesaning, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 16, 2025.
Lucille was born on February 5, 1937, in Chesaning, Michigan, to Fred and Theresa (Constine) Maike. She spent her working years at Universal Electric in Owosso. Lucille was known for her zest for life - she loved playing cards, visiting the casino, golfing, and especially baking. Above all, she cherished time spent with her family and friends, earning her the affectionate title of "the life of the party."
She is survived by her twin brother, Lavern (Dorothy) Maike: sister-in-law, Donna Maike, along with many loving nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
Lucille was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Theresa, and her siblings: Gerald Maike, Lorraine Cowman, Leonard Maike, Clarence Maike, Lawrence Maike, Alfred Maike, Jim Maike, Louis Maike, Evelyn Danek, Walter Maike and Jane Vondrasek.
A memorial Mass to celebrate Lucille's life will be held at 11am on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at St. Peter Catholic Church in Chesaning. The family will receive friends form 10am till the time of Mass.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Lucille's name may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
