Margaret Ann Pupava, 73, of Chesaning,
Born on August 2, 1952 to Marie McFall and John Pupava, passed away surrounded by love.
Margaret was known for her kind heart, gentle spirit, and the way she always gave her time to others. She had a deep affection for cats and found great comfort and joy in caring for them. Margaret was the kind of person who always knew how to make others feel seen, valued, and comforted - offering a listening ear and warm heart to anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Angela McElhaney (Bennett); grandson, Mark Schmidt; parents, John and Marie Pupava; brothers, Steven, Daniel, and John; her fiancé, Robert (Bob) Woody, and many other family members. She leaves behind her daughter, Christina Schmidt (Bennett); grandchildren, Tyler, Alisha, Ryan, Rachel (Newka), Cole, Keith, and her great-grandchildren; ex husband, Jesse Bennett; and close friend, William (Bill) Gross, who lovingly stood by her side during her illness as well as many other loved ones who will miss her dearly.
Her warmth, passion, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A service to celebrate Margaret's life will be held at Racy Church (M57 and Chapin Road) on October 24th, 2025, at 5:00pm. Friends and family are welcome to join as we honor her life and the love she shared so freely.
