Lucille B. Zarse, 89, of Lafayette, IN, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023.
She was born on March 22, 1934 in Logansport, Indiana to the late Robert and Addie (Siferd) Burris.
Lucille graduated from Burnettsville High School in 1952.
Her first marriage was to the late Maurice E. Henry. Her second marriage was to Harold W. Zarse on May 1, 1976. They were married 37 years before he preceded her in death on August 15, 2013.
Lucille was a homemaker. Many years ago, she worked at Loeb's Department Store in downtown Lafayette.
She enjoyed photography, reading, visiting with friends, and playing with her cats.
Surviving are her daughter, Teresa (Kenny) Pearson of Lafayette; her grandchildren, Nathan Pearson and Andrea Henry; her great grandchildren, Abbi McDole, Kyleigh Pearson, and Bailey Pearson; her great great grandchildren, October, Ryder, Luna, Jupiter, Goldie, Violet, and Ezekiel. Also surviving are her stepchildren, Karen Zarse and Gary Zarse and several step grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Anthony Henry; her daughter, Cynthia Henry; her grandchildren, Maureen Henry and Gabriel Pearson; and her siblings, Marilyn (Bob) Lind, Margaret (Bob) Suiter, and Ralph (Marge) Burris.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2023 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Fisher Funeral Chapel with a graveside service following at Idaville Cemetery in Idaville, Indiana.
Memorial donations may be made to Natalie's Second Chance Shelter in loving memory of Lucille.
