Lucinda "Cindy" Sanders age 56 of Shelbyville, Kentucky passed away peacefully Saturday November 2, 2024 in Shelbyville. She had been employed with Landmark Community Newspaper for over twenty years. Cici was loved by all that knew her. She loved the summertime and being with friends and family by the pool. She left an impression on everyone that she met. Not only was she the best Mom, she was the best Cici to all of the grandbabies. While her time in life was limited, her memory will live on forever.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Popp; her grandmother, Lilliam Catlett; and her aunt Queena Perry.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 37 years, Kenny Sanders, of Shelbyville, Kentucky; her daughters, Molly Hildebran (Evan) of Louisville, Kentucky and Courtney Short (Greg) of Bagdad, Kentucky; her grandchildren, Rylee and Ryder Shupert and Lillian Short; her sister, Kim Popp Brown ( Lloyd) of Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Funeral Service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday November 7, 2024 at the Shannon Funeral Home with Zachary Brown officiating. Burial will follow in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Shelbyville, Kentucky.
Visitation will be for 2:00 p.m. – 8: 00 p.m. Wednesday November 6, 2024, at the Shannon Funeral Home.
