Lucrezia DePinto, 84, of Bayville passed away on September 22, 2024. Born and raised in Molfetta, Italy she moved to the United States in 1969. She lived many years in Hoboken, NJ before moving to Metuchen, NJ in 1980. She later settled to Bayville in 2006. Lucrezia worked many years as a seamstress, but her main priority was raising her family. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, going to the beach, watching WWE, but most of all she cherished her time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
Mrs. DePinto is predeceased by her parents Pantaleo and Maria DePinto, and her brother Onofrio DePinto. Surviving is her husband of 53 years, Onofrio DePinto; her two children Leonard DePinto and his wife Veronica and Nancy Vassallo and her husband Todd; four grandchildren Gabriella, Vincent, Jack and Andrew; her siblings Gilormina Mastrorilli, Maria Piumelli and Vincenzo DePinto. Also surviving are many extended family members and friends.
A viewing will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, from 4pm -8pm at Mastapeter Memorial Home, 270 Atlantic City Blvd, Bayville, NJ 08721. Funeral will be Friday, September 27th beginning at 9:30am in the funeral before leaving to celebrate an 11am Funeral Mass at St. Barnabas Church in Bayville, NJ. Entombment will immediately follow at Ocean County Memorial Park in Toms River, NJ.
