Lucy was always welcoming to John's friends. We often went over to the house after school and knowing where the key was hidden, let ourselves in and raided the cupboard where she kept a wide range of snacks. We thought we were so sneaky. Only later we learned it was all Lucy's plan ... she wanted John and his friends at her house ... so she knew where he was and who he was hangin around with. I'm so glad I got to visit with her last October.

The Rockledge Women's Golf Group was saddened to hear of Lucy's passing. She served as our president in 2000 and 2001 and played golf until age 90. She was fun to play with and was welcoming to all - a life well lived.
Our condolences to her family.
