Lucy Ann Benally was born on June 4, 1958 to Guy and Mary Lou Benally at McNary General Hospital, in McNary, Arizona.
She graduated from McNary High School in 1976 and received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Geology from Northern Arizona University.
Lucy played basketball, volleyball, cheerleading, and track and field. She loved life, she loved people, and she loved learning. Lucy played piano and clarinet; she crocheted and baked. She was a Forestry Technician and was a Grant Writer for the Fort Apache Heritage Foundation.
A viewing will be held Friday, May 30, 2025 at 9:00 A.M. at Buck Springs LDS Chapel, 4075 Buck Springs Rd., Pinetop, Arizona. Funeral Service will follow at 10:00 A.M.
