Lucy Mae Hicks

Lucy Mae (Moon) Hicks of Goodlettsville, Tennessee, was welcomed into the arms of Jesus on October 30, 2025, at the age of 88. She was surrounded by her loving family and friends at her home.
Memorial services will be conducted Friday November 7, 2025, at 2 pm in the Oakhurst Chapel of Robertson County Funeral Home. Bro. Marvin Crouch and Bro. Billy Traughber will be officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 am until the hour of service at 2 pm.
Ms. Lucy was born July 21, 1937, in Springfield, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Maude Baker Moon; her brother Sory Moon; daughter Sheila Watts Stephens; and her fur babies, Snowman and Jacque.
Ms. Lucy, as she was affectionally referred to, was a member of First Baptist Church in Hendersonville, Tennessee, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. She worked many years at Farmers Bank and retired as branch manager from Investors Savings and Loan Bank. She was often called "Lysol Lucy" because of the sparkle and shine seen around her home from cleaning. She loved gospel and country music and, in her younger years, square danced on the Grand Ole Opry stage.
Lucy is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 34 years, Theron Hicks; son Terry (Anita) Watts; daughters Stephanie (David) Shreeve and Teena (Ronnie) Mayo; and sister, Judy Henderson; as we as nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. She was loved by several nieces, nephews, and a wonderful circle of cherished neighbors and friends.
In lieu of flowers, it was her wish that donations be considered in her memory to a cause close to her heart, Robertson County Animal Shelter. All donations can be sent c/o Robertson County Funeral Home.
