She is survived by her sisters Rosie Andrade and Margaret Mena, and her brothers Elmer, Eddie, and Ernest Delgado. She is lovingly remembered by her children:

Lucy worked for many years at a Monterey County cannery in Salinas, but her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She loved cooking meals that brought everyone together, tending to her beautiful garden, and sewing handmade pieces filled with love. Her home was always open, good food, and the smell of something wonderful on the stove.
A woman of deep faith, Lucy was a devoted member of St. Theodore's Catholic Church in Gonzales.
Lucy will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her love, faith.
