Arthur Corral Nuno of Virginia Beach passed at home on 10/6/2025 due to pancreatic cancer. He was born August 21st, 1960, in Salinas California. He was the son of Luis Nuno and Lucy Nuno.
Arthur graduated from Gonzales High School class of 1978. Following graduation, he enlisted in the Navy and served his country for over 23 years. He received his Bachelor of Science in Criminology from St. Leo University. Post military retirement, he worked for the Virginia Beach Sheriff's department as a Corporal for 10 years. Arthur finished his career at St. Leo University.
While serving the Navy in Scotland, Arthur met the love of his life Agnes (Bryne) Nuno and they were married for over 42 years. Arthur was a decan at Eastside Christian Church for 20 years.
Arthur was a family man who was loyal to all family and friends. He was stoic, kind and loved deeply. He enjoyed cooking, gardening, reading history books and fixing things around the house. He appreciated old movies, old time radio shows and music from many genres.
Arthur was predeceased by his father Luis Nuno and brother George Nuno.
Surviving in addition to his wife, Agnes (Bryne) Nuno, are his daughters Angela (Nuno) Osby and husband Kenyatta Osby; daughter Erin (Nuno) McErlean and wife Michelle McErlean; Daughter Pauline Nuno. Granddaughters Esperanza Osby & Gabriella Osby. Brother Luis Nuno and his wife Delores of Republic, WA. Brother Steven Nuno and wife Ida of Sacramento, CA. Sister Pauline (Nuno) Flores and husband Richard of Santa Clara, CA. His mother Lucy Nuno of Gonzales, CA. As well as many nieces and nephews.
A service of remembrance will be held at 2pm Saturday October 18th at Hollomon-Brown Princess Anne Chapel at 3445 Princess Anne Road, Virginia Beach VA, 23456. The family will receive friends beginning at 1pm.
