Lucy Worrey Obituary
PORTLAND - Lucy Rose Nizza Worrey, 87, passed away peacefully on the evening of Monday, April 10, 2017, surrounded by her family.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, April 17, at 10 a.m. at St. Peter's Church, on Federal Street in Portland. A burial service will immediately follow at Brooklawn Memorial Park at 2002 Congress Street, Portland. A light reception will follow the burial at St. Peter's Parish Hall on Federal Street. I was happy to be Lucy's friend for 70 years. We met when we were working together at the Casco Paper Box in 1947. I miss her phone calls and I'll miss her company. I appreciated all the times she came to visit my mother as well. Rest In Peace Lucy!

My prayers goes out to all the family.
Lucy was a dear friend whom I visited with at St. Joseph's Manor each Saturday morning. Lucy had a good sense of humor and liked to share on Ward C. The past months while on Ward B we kept up our friendship during uncertainty about Lucy's health. Lucy often asked me to visit. Last Saturday was our last visit here. Im thankful to have known Lucy.

There was no one like her in the world, before or after. All we can do is try a little bit everyday to be like Lucy.
She never judged anyone.
She accepted everyone.
She was so caring and loving.

Dear Theresa, Mary and Christina. You were all Blessed to have a wonderful, loving, caring mother, who always went above and beyond for you and your grandchildren. Lucy always had a camera in hand taking many polaroid shots capturing all those special moments for us.
I am happy that I was Lucy's friend for over forty five years and I will always cherish our friendship and memories over the years. I was so Blessed that I spent all of last Thursday with her especially, being able to see her smile from ear to ear while she was watching my daughter Susan, singing and dancing to her favorite Frank Sinatra songs.
You all are in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Lucy will always be in our hearts and never be forgotten!!!! Our love, Beverly Albano
