Luetish Donelson Vaughn was born on May 21, 1936, in Benton, MS, to Mr.
Townsend Williams and Lessie Lee Blount, who preceded her in death. Luetish transitioned to heaven Saturday, June 28, 2025 at St. Dominic Hospital, Jackson, MS.
She was surrounded by her loving family. She accepted Christ in her life at an early age and joined Cedar Grove Missionary Church in Benton, MS., where she attended Plainville School in Benton, MS. She later became a member of Greater Fairview Baptist Church, Jackson, MS, where she served as an usher.
Ou December 25, 1951, she was married to Andrew Lee Donelson, and to this union, seven children were born: five preceded her in death: Maxine Donelson Swan, Virginia Donelson, Tammie Dean Donelson, Walter Donelson, and Eugene Donelson.
Leaving to cherish her memories are her two children: Lee Andrew Donelson, Jr. of Vaughn, MS and Gloria Ann Donelson King (Lee) of Ridgeland, MS, and their halfbrother, Andre' Lamar Donelson (Tevya) of Dallas, TX; grandchildren: Kamel LaMarkus King (Latoya) and Ariss Chanee King both of Ridgeland, MS; Lee Andrew Donelson III of Pearl, MS; Marlo Donelson of Flowood, MS; Aishia Strong of Chicago, IL, Leou Jones of Atlanta, GA; Rosa Hoy of Chicago, IL; Nicholas Lee Donelson, Taylor Eugene Donelson both of Jackson, MS; great grandchildren: Yanisha Donelson of Memphis, TN; Leon Jones, Jr., Ania Jones, Yarhi Jones all of Minneapolis, MN; Teon Jones, Deon Jones both of Atlanta, GA; Lenise Donelson Murrell, Cameron Murrell, Kyrie Murrell, Camille Murrell all of Olive Branch, MS; Taylor Andrew Donelson, Jr. of Jackson, MS; Jordyn Hoy, Nyree Hoy both from Chicago, IL;
Kennedy LeeAnn King of Ridgeland, MS; living sibilings; Elizabeth Prince, Stella Rine, Eugene Whitfield and Atline Evans all of Denver, CO; Leroy Williams of South Bend, MN; siblings preceded her in death, Townsend Williams, Jr., John "Pete" Williams, Eddie "Rooster" Williams, Elnora Williams, Mattie Williams Jackson, Joe Louis Williams, Caroline (Sis) Williams. She also leaves behind her lifelong loving sister-in-law, Zula Mae Donelson Brown of Jackson, MS; special cousin/friends, Dorothy Taylor, and Cedell and Doris Hendricks all of Jackson, MS; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. The family wishes to extend their sincere gratitude and thanks to the wonderful caregivers who provided comfort, support and loving care, they became family, Sonya Hughes, Sharon Franklin and Mrs. Barbara Love. We truly appreciate you!
