Curtis Jermaine Vaughn, 50, of Trenton, New Jersey, died July 6, 2025, in Philadelphia, PA. He was born on November 6, 1974, in Trenton to Joann Vaughn and the late Burley Greene.
Curtis attended music production and engineering school in New York. He also graduated from the Electrician Program at Pennco Tech in Blackwood, NJ.
He was engaged to be married to Alicia Irvin, and they had a son, Kallahan Curtis Vaughn. Curtis was also a doting father to his children from prior relationships: Khalid, Sadia, and Yasirah Vaughn as well as Dayron Hayes-Vaughn and Naloni Hayes.
Curtis was a passionate musician since he was a young man, and took the time to develop his craft during his entire life. He even founded Eastern Standard Time Records. Curtis was also a trained and certified electrician.
He was an avid cyclist and enjoyed riding the scenic trails of New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
Preceded in death by his father, Burley Greene, Curtis is survived by his fiancé, Alicia Irvin; children, Kallahan, Khalid, Sadia, Yasirah, Dayron, and Naloni; grandchildren, Koda, Joshua, and Jonah Vaughn; mother, Joann Vaughn; siblings, Lakeisha, Alonzo, and Nicole Blakely, Aiesha Little, and Floyd and Deaundrey Vaughn; and a host of other relatives and friends.
