Luis Acevedo, age 83 years of Camden, passed away on January 11, 2024.
Beloved husband of the late Aida Cintron. Devoted father of Luis Acevedo, Nilda Acevedo, David Acevedo, David Acevedo, Marisol Acevedo, Migdalia Acevedo, and the late Jose Acevedo. Loving grandfather of 6 and great grandfather of 8. Dear brother of Veraña Acevedo.
Prior to retirement, Luis worked in construction for many years. He enjoyed playing bingo and cooking. Luis was very involved as the Treasurer for the Building Club at Kennedy Towers where he lived and in charge of the Food Bank. In his spare time, he loved to watch war movies and collect war memorabilia.
Relatives and friends are invited to the Visitation & Funeral on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 from 9:30-11 AM at the Falco, Caruso & Leonard Pennsauken Funeral Home, 6600 N. Browning Road, where a Funeral Service will be held at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Morgan Cemetery in Cinnaminson.
