Luis Alfonso Anrango

Luis Alfonso Cushcagua Anrango, affectionately known as Luis by his loved ones, passed away peacefully at his home in Oakland, California, on the 26th of August, 2025. Born on the 3rd of May, 1961, in the beautiful country of Ecuador.

He is survived by a family that adored him, and his absence will be deeply felt by each member. Luis's spirit, however, will continue to guide them, as they remember his teachings, his kindness, and the love he so freely gave. His influence has left an indelible impression that will be carried forward through generations.

Family and friends are invited to attend the services in honor of Luis on Tuesday, September 9th, from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Greer Family Mortuary and Cremation Services. It will be a time to reflect on the joy Luis brought into our lives, to share stories that celebrate his unique spirit, and to say farewell to a man who was much more than the sum of his years.

As we prepare to gather in remembrance, we encourage all who knew Luis to share their memories on the Tribute Wall.
