Luis Carrasco Orona, 93, of Fort Stockton, Texas, passed away on April 9, 2025 in Crane, TX.
Visitation will be held at Eternity Funeral Home Chapel B, 600 E. Dickinson Blvd., Ft. Stockton, TX, 79735, on Sunday, April 13, 2025, from 1pm to 8pm with a Rosary recited at 7pm.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Monday, April 14, 2025 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish- St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Fort Stockton Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements are by Eternity Funeral Home.
Luis Carrasco was born to Pedro and Maria Carrasco in Vado de Piedra, Chihuahua, Mexico on February 11, 1932. He married Candelaria Hinojos on April 21, 1958 in San Juan, Chihuahua, Mexico. He worked many honorable years in the police force until migrating to the United States where he worked 20 dedicated years farm laboring for Belding Farms before retiring. He has left a legacy amongst his family and had been an admirable and respected man by many.
Luis Carrasco is preceded in death by his father and mother Pedro and Maria Carrasco, his siblings Antonio Carrasco, Dulce Nombres Carrasco, Francisco Carrasco, Pedro Carrasco and Floro Carrasco and his infant son, Floro Carrasco.
Luis Carrasco is survived by his wife Candelaria Hinojos de Carrasco, his children Guadalupe Lopez, Martin Carrasco, Maria Montañez, Marycela Rodriguez, Antonio Carrasco, Aron Carrasco, and Jesus Andres Carrasco, his 21 grandchildren and 30 great-grandchildren and his brothers Manuel Carrasco, Fidel Carrasco, and Ramon Carrasco.
Pallbearers will be Jose A. Montañez, Andres H. Carrasco, Cesar Rodriguez, Pablo Lopez, Alonso Rodriguez, Antonio de Jesus Carrasco, Jesus Aron Carrasco.
