Luis F. Cervantes

Luis F. Cervantes, 60, of Elsmere, KY passed away peacefully on Friday, March 17, 2023 at St. Elizabeth Hospice Facility in Edgewood, KY. He was born June 21, 1962 in Morelia, Mexico.
Luis was a loving man with a big heart. He was a proud husband and father, and he took pride in providing for his family. His family was always his number one priority, and he loved to go back to Mexico to visit. Luis was a hard worker and he was very handy. He enjoyed taking care of things around the house, and he always made sure the house looked good inside and out. He enjoyed doing yard work, working on cars, and he could fix just about anything that needed repaired. He also loved food, and he enjoyed going out to eat with his family. He liked watching TV, and was a big fan of the car auctions and Formula 1 racing. He also enjoyed soccer and boxing. Luis loved the outdoors, and he enjoyed taking his dogs to the dog park.
He was preceded in death by his parents: José and Carmen Cervantes, and his siblings: Teresa, Manuel and Javier Cervantes. Luis is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Veronica Cervantes, his beloved daughters: Erika Cervantes and Christina Cervantes (Jalen Neace), his dear siblings: Arturo, Carmen, Lucia, Rosario, Lourdes, Rafael, Vinicio, Alejandro, Ruperto, and Octavio Cervantes, his dogs, who he referred to as "The Kids": Luna and Kofie, and numerous loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A visitation will be held for Luis on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 12:00PM until 2:00PM at Linnemann Funeral Home, 1940 Burlington Pike, Burlington, KY 41005. A service will be held immediately following at 2:00 PM. Luis will be laid to rest at Burlington Cemetery following the services at the Funeral Home.
