Luis Anjel Garcia

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Luis Anjel Garcia, age 32 on Sunday, August 24, 2025. He is survived by his loving mother, Margarita and brothers, Pedro (Maria) and Diego, sister, Alondra and nieces, Jocelyn, Ariana and Eliana. He is preceded in death by his father Pedro Garcia.

Luis loved to dance, loved music, was intelligent and was the life of the party. He enjoyed being with his family, playing with his dog Canelo, loved to video game and play basketball. He was a huge fan of the Chicago Bulls. He was also a foodie and his family loved waking up to his famous milkshakes. Although Luis had an unimaginable, challenging last few years, he will always be remembered as such a loving, fun person.

Visitation will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 from 3-8 pm at Anderson Memorial Home at 21131 W. Renwick Rd in Plainfield Il 60544. Mass will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at St. Dominic Church at 440 E Briarcliff Rd, Bolingbrook, Il 60440, with burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery in Romeoville Il. In lieu of flowers, monetary donations to help towards the cost of the funeral will be greatly appreciated.

Con el corazón lleno de dolor comunicamos el fallecimiento de Luis Anjel García, de 32 años, el Domingo 24 de Agosto de 2025.

Le sobreviven su amorosa madre, Margarita; sus hermanos Pedro (María) y Diego; su hermana Alondra; y sus sobrinas Jocelyn, Ariana y Eliana. Le precedió en muerte su padre, Pedro García.

Luis amaba bailar, la música, era inteligente y siempre la alegría de las reuniones. Disfrutaba pasar tiempo con su familia, jugar con su perro Canelo, los videojuegos y el baloncesto. Era un gran fanático de los Chicago Bulls. También le encantaba la comida y su familia siempre recordará sus famosas malteadas por las mañanas. Aunque Luis tuvo unos últimos años inimaginablemente difíciles, siempre será recordado como una persona amorosa y divertida.

El velorio se llevará a cabo el viernes 29 de agosto de 2025, de 3 a 8 p. m., en Anderson Memorial Home, ubicado en 21131 W. Renwick Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544.

La misa será el sábado 30 de agosto de 2025 en la iglesia St. Dominic, en 440 E. Briarcliff Rd, Bolingbrook, IL 60440, y posteriormente el entierro en el cementerio Resurrection en Romeoville, IL.

En lugar de flores, se agradecerán donativos monetarios para ayudar con los gastos del funeral.
