LOWELL Luis Angel González Rivera, 33 of Lowell, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 10, 2023 at Lowell General Hospital. He was born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico on November 4, 1990 and was a son of the late Luis Alfredo Gonzalez and Sylvia Rivera of Lowell.
Luis came to Lowell with his family when he was one year old, where he was raised and attended the area schools. He worked as a mechanic throughout Lowell for many years. Luis will be remembered for his wonderful heart and his generosity helping others.
In addition to his mother, Sylvia Rivera of Lowell; he is survived by his two children, Damien Angel Gonzalez and Avery Maria Gonzalez, and their mother Christine Marcopoulos; his sisters, Nallely Gonzalez and Geisel Gonzalez; and his nieces and nephews.
On Thursday, November 16, 2023, all are welcome to attend his graveside funeral service at 11:15 a.m. at Westlawn I Cemetery, on Boston Road in Lowell. Please find us on Facebook or visit www.McDonoughFuneralHome.com to leave the family a message of condolence at any time.
