Luis A. Hernandez

July 8, 1974 – January 11, 2026

Luis A. Hernandez passed away on January 11, 2026. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, stepfather, son, brother, and friend whose presence could fill a room and whose spirit left a lasting impression on everyone he met.

Luis was known for his laid-back, take-it-easy nature. He believed in living life one day at a time and helping anyone he could, often without being asked and never expecting anything in return. He had a big personality, a bigger heart, and a sense of humor that made him unforgettable. Luis was a true jokester - always laughing and always making those around him laugh. There was truly no one else like him.

Luis dedicated his life to the tire industry, a line of work that was more than just a job - it was his passion. He could spend hours carefully picking, inspecting, and working with tires, taking pride in every detail. His strong work ethic, knowledge, and dedication earned him respect from all who knew him.

Above all, Luis's greatest love was his wife, Sandra, and his family. He was the proud father of two daughters, Ebonie and Makayla, and a loving grandfather to his five grandchildren, Daniel, Julian, Amiya, Ava, and Christopher. He also deeply loved Sandra's grandchildren, including Leyana, with whom he shared a special bond that brought him great joy.

Luis embraced his role as a stepfather with love and commitment to Sandra's children: Lord, Justin, Matthew, and Sandee. He shared a special bond with his stepson Lord, who preceded him in passing and whom he now joins in eternal rest. Luis loved Justin, Matthew, and Sandee as his own, offering guidance, protection, laughter, and unconditional love.

Luis is survived by his loving wife, Sandra; his daughters Ebonie and Makayla; his grandchildren Daniel, Julian, Amiya, Ava, and Christopher; his stepchildren Justin, Matthew, and Sandee; his parents, who are both living; his three brothers and one sister; and his maternal grandmother. He leaves behind a large family and countless friends who loved him deeply and will forever carry his memory in their hearts.

Though Luis faced internal battles that few may have seen, he continued to show up for others with kindness, generosity, and laughter. His legacy is one of love, resilience, humor, and a spirit that cannot be replaced.

While our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Luis is at peace, resting in God's presence, reunited with loved ones, and watching over those he loved so dearly.
