Willard Schultz Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Allentown Funeral & Cremations Services, LLC on Feb. 13, 2026.
Will Freeman Schultz, 86, of Bethlehem, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2026. Born on March 27, 1939, in Schuylkill County, Pa., he was the beloved son of the late Freeman and Helen Schultz (Miller). He graduated from Liberty High School in 1957 and later, Penn State University. Will was happily married to his wife Joanne Schultz (Swartz) for 63 years until her passing in 2024. Will had many careers, mainly as a mechanical designer and business owner (Schultz Bicycles in Bethlehem). He had many interests including restoring and touring his Model A Fords, model/garden railroading, riding his Harley (and later his scooter), sailing, traveling (mostly to the UK), hit-and-miss engines, and countless mechanical projects. He was truly a mechanical genius that was always willing to help others. No matter what, he was always there to help anyway he could. Will's memory will be cherished and carried on by his son Eric A. Schultz and his wife Barbara Schultz, son Roger D. Schultz and his wife Suzann Schultz; 4 grandchildren including Theodore, Amanda, Luke, and Isaac Schultz; 3 great grandchildren; Maxine, Winter, and Fabiana. He was also very fond of his many cousins and thoroughly enjoyed family events and reunions. He was predeceased by wife, Joanne Schultz and sister Evelyn Burian (Schultz). The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to St. Luke's Hospital's ER team for their exceptional support and care during Will's illness.

Services: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 21, 2026 at Star of Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 514 3rd Avenue, Bethlehem.
