Nicholas Anthony "Nick" Cuffin

Nicholas 'Nick' Anthony Cuffin, age 63, of Volant, PA, passed away the morning of Feb. 12, 2026, at UPMC Passavant McCandless, in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born Feb. 17, 1962, in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of the late Larry and Rose (Granvanti) Cuffin, Sr. He married his beloved wife of 41 years, on Oct. 5, 1984, the former, Melodie Jane Knight. Mrs. Cuffin survives at home.

Nick was a graduate of Pittsburgh Allderdice High School. He went on to earn his bachelor's degree in accounting from Penn State University. For 14 years, Nick worked in retail technology, employed by PNC Bank.

Hunting, being outdoors, enjoying the family farm, taking care of the horses and sheep, and spending time with is his family and dogs, were some of his greatest treasures in life. He was a member of the New Castle Rod and Gun Club. Nick was of the Catholic faith.

In addition to his wife, survivors include three daughters, Theresa, Amanda, and Catherine Cuffin, all of Volant, PA; one brother, Daniel (Nena) Cuffin, of Butler, PA; and his beloved dogs, Annabelle, Amos, Birdie, and Trapper John.

Along with his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Cuffin, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Thurs. Feb. 19th from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM at the R. Cunningham Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 2429 Wilmington Road, New Castle.

A Blessing service will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM.
