PEREZ Luis Perez, 72 years of age, entered peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, July 28, 2025. He was born on October 12, 1952 in Benavides, Texas and resided there all his life. Luis was a graduate of Benavides High School and was employed with Price Drilling Company for many years. He will also be remembered for working at Quik Pantry in Benavides for several years. Luis enjoyed barbequing, scratching Lottery tickets and watching his favorite football team "49ers" and his favorite baseball team the Cardinals and especially spending time with his beloved wife, Dolores and all his family. Luis was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, and uncle who will be sadly missed by all his family and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dolores C. Perez, his parents, Juvenal and Francisca Perez. Luis is survived by his son, Juan Gabriel (Rosemary) Perez of Alice, Texas; five grandchildren, Olivia Rose Perez, Lola Rose Perez, Gabriella Faye Perez, Mason Jey Pena, Caitlin Daniel Gonzalez; one brother, Adan (Brenda) Perez; two sisters, Emma († Romeo) Trejo, and Eva († Joe) Escamilla; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Oscar (Velma) Cantu Sr., Vidal (San Juanita) Cantu Jr., Ernestina (Noe) Gonzalez, Dalia (Amando) Elizondo, Raquel (Rumaldo) Vasquez, Hilma († Valentin) Cantu; numerous nieces and nephews.
