It is with deep love and heartfelt remembrance that we announce the passing of our beloved Aunt,
Great Aunt, Great Grand Aunt, Madrina, and Stepmother, Luisa Suarez, who peacefully departed this life
at the remarkable age of 102. She was predeceased by her husband, Carmelo Suarez, her beloved sister,
Amalia Santiago, and her great-nephew Edgar Nazario. Luisa Suarez was a cherished matriarch and a beacon of kindness, resilience and wisdom to her family and friends. Her warmth, compassion, straight-forward manner and strong spirit touched the lives of everyone she knew. She was especially loved by her nieces, Iris and Nilsa Saniel, step-daughter, Connie Suarez-Gras, great-nieces and nephews, great-grand-nieces and nephews, and great-great grand nieces and nephews, who forever hold her memory close to their hearts.
Throughout her long and fulfilling life, Luisa Suarez exemplified grace, strength, and love. Her legacy
lives on in the countless lives she inspired and the enduring bonds she nurtured within her family. She
cherished her sister and was a constant source of protection and care. She dedicated several decades of
her life working in a factory, where she proudly worked her way up to become a supervisor-an
achievement she was very proud of. She was an exemplary employee that took great pride in her work
product and her attendance and punctuality. Luisa Suarez was a devoted aunt who deeply loved and supported her family she found joy in movies, and all kinds of entertainment, always embracing the things that brought her family and friends
together.
A celebration of her life will be held on June 19, 2025, where family and friends will gather to honor her
remarkable journey. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Save the Children, reflecting her
compassionate spirit. Luisa Suarez proudly shared the mantra that family is everything, and she exemplified this belief through the way she lived her life. She was a pillar of strength for four generations of her family and will be
dearly missed but forever remembered as a beloved wife, sister, aunt, step mother, godmother, great-
aunt, and great-grand aunt who brought light, love and laughter into the lives of all she touched.
