Carmen Luisa Suarez Trujillo, a beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on the morning of August 13, 2025, at the age of 101. Born on March 11, 1924, in Juana Díaz, Puerto Rico, Carmen lived a vibrant life, leaving an undeniable mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. Known affectionately by many as "Dia-dina Born to Angelica Trujillo and Sixto Suarez, she and her brother Jose Antonio Suarez Trujillo came from humble beginnings. Carmen bore eight children, Jorge L. Ortiz, Norbeta E. Ortiz, Maria S. Ortiz, Maria D. Suarez-Ortiz, Jose J. Lombay, Aida R. Lombay, Angelica Lombay, and Vivian L. Lombay. Her youngest, Vivian, was there to lay her to rest and join her 7 children who had passed before her. Her favorite pastime was watching Major League Baseball, cheering on passionately for the Boston Red Sox, her favorite team. She loved to sew, do crossword puzzles, and create art through her coloring books. A deeply religious and truly astonishing woman, Carmen's unwavering faith in God inspired all who knew her. Her wisdom would heal and put you on a path of clarity until it was time to ask for her guidance again. Carmen was a woman of unmatched strength, and her devotion was second to none. Her heart welcomed every person who crossed her path, and her care for her family blossomed into dozens of warriors carrying on her name and blood forward. To know Carmen was to know resilience, and a guiding light that will forever shine in the lives of those she touched. Carmen's legacy is one of love, faith, and enduring strength. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through her family, her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren who were blessed to know her. Rest in Paradise our Queen
