Heaven gained another angel on July 8, 2023. Lukas “Luke” Ryan Charles McKee, born in Athens, Texas on July 18, 1991, to Jim and Jill (McRae) McKee.
Luke was a sweet, caring, and loving son, brother, and father, who had a huge heart. He loved fishing, hunting, and hanging out with his family and friends. He was a BIG time sports fan. There was no baseball, football, or basketball game that he did not watch. Of course, his number one teams were the Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys, and Dallas Mavericks. Luke could always tell the best stories, fact, or fiction. He loved some snazzy dance moves and was not shy about showing them off. He loved going to barber school and wanted to get his license. Cutting any and everyone’s hair was his DREAM. He loved his family and will be missed by everyone who knew and loved him. His number one accomplishment was being a dad to two amazing sons. He lived for these two boys, more than life itself.
God has you now and you can finally rest easy.
Our baby boy will be forever in our hearts.
Lukas is preceded by his great-grandmother, Leora McKee, great-grandmother, Mae Burton, grandfather, Charles McRae, aunt and uncle Bobby and Niki Jones
