Luke Person Obituary
Luke Person, 60, a beloved figure of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming sadly left our world on August 10, 2024. Luke spent over 30 years in construction, and over 10 years with his kiddos at LCSD2. Luke was treasured by the community, touching many lives through his humor and kindness.
Luke loved camping, elk hunting, spending time with his family, and his precious bull terriers.
Luke is survived by Leanne Person, wife, Nick Person (Jordan), Tim Person (Ran), Hope Peete (Cameron), and Karli Person. Luke is also survived by 13 brothers and sisters, countless nieces and nephews, and four beautiful grandchildren, Landon, Morgan, Arthur, and Cecilia. Luke was preceded in death by his father Sonny Person and his mother Dorothy Person.
Luke’s memorial gathering will be held at Pine Bluffs Community Center on August 17th from 12pm-3pm. If any students would like to write a letter to Mr. Person, a box will be available at the center for them to drop it off. In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted for a memorial bench at the school in Luke’s honor.
